Family Friendly Hotels in Springdale
For families heading to Zion National Park, choosing the right place to stay is essential. Choosing Flanigan's Inn for our Zion National Park visit was a great decision. After a busy week visiting Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, and Arches National Park, we looked forward to some quiet time at Zion, especially during Christmas. The idea of squeezing into a single hotel room with two adults and two teenagers for five nights was far from ideal.
That’s when we found Flanigan's Inn, which offers not just regular rooms but also two private villas across the street from the main hotel. The villa was the perfect place for our family, giving us the freedom and space we needed to enjoy our time together without feeling cramped.

The villa exceeded our expectations, which were already high from the photos we’d seen online. It featured a cozy lounge with a TV, sofas, and a fireplace for movie nights, a well-equipped full kitchen for making meals, spacious rooms, a BBQ, and lots of outdoor space. Additionally, the free Wi-Fi was essential for my teenage sons. The views of the red rocks from every window were simply stunning, and the staff at Flanigan’s were always helpful and friendly.
Flanigan's Inn is within easy walking distance to the park entrance and Zion Canyon Shuttle. It also features an onsite restaurant spa, a relaxing lobby area with a coffee machine, and a small business center.
We also discovered that Best Western Plus hotels are great for families. At Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon, our room came with two queen beds and a sofa bed, fitting our family comfortably. In addition to the free breakfast, the inclusion of a fridge and microwave was a bonus, allowing us to save money by preparing our own meals.
