Looking for family-friendly accommodation in Springdale?
Picking the right spot is key for a memorable Zion National Park trip. Our choice, Flanigan's Inn, hit the mark perfectly.
Following a week filled with visits to the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, and Arches National Park, we were in search of some peace at Zion, particularly over the Christmas period. The thought of all four of us—two adults and two teens—cramming into one hotel room for five nights wasn’t appealing.
That’s when we discovered Flanigan's Inn, which not only provides standard rooms but also offers two private villas just across the street from the main lodging. These villas became our ideal retreat, offering the space and privacy our family needed to truly enjoy our stay without feeling squeezed in.

Our stay at the villa went beyond what we hoped for, even with the impressive online photos setting high expectations. It had a cozy lounge area with a TV, sofas, and a fireplace perfect for family movie nights, a fully equipped kitchen for homemade meals, spacious rooms, a BBQ, and ample outdoor space. The complimentary Wi-Fi was a hit with my teens. Plus, the breathtaking views of the red rocks from every window and the always accommodating Flanigan's staff added to our wonderful experience.
Flanigan's Inn is within easy walking distance to the park entrance and Zion Canyon Shuttle. It also features an onsite restaurant spa, a relaxing lobby area with a coffee machine, and a small business center.
We found that Best Western Plus hotels cater well to families, too. At the Best Western Plus Bryce Canyon, our room featured two queen beds and a sofa bed, comfortably fitting our family. The free breakfast, along with a fridge and microwave in the room, allowed us to prepare our own meals, helping us save on dining out.
