Some of the best paddle boarding lakes in Banff National Park, Canmore and Kananaskis include Two Jack Lake, Johnson Lake, Cascade Ponds, Vermilion Lakes, Herbert Lake, Moraine Lake and Lake Louise.

The best time for paddling in Banff National Park is from late June to mid September but always be prepared with layers of clothing as conditions can be changeable.
You'll stay at Basecamp Lodge or the Lamphouse Hotel in Canmore surrounded by many world famous mountain peaks and only a twenty minute drive to Banff National Park and several of the most beautiful paddle boarding lakes in the world.

Canmore and Banff have a good selection of varied and good quality restaurants. The main arrival point is the city of Calgary, just a one hour and twenty minute drive from Canmore.
